Ebi McKnotty

She/They – Ebi McKnotty is a rope enthusiast from Quebec City. She has been experimenting with rope since 2006, and began performing and teaching in 2011. A fan of Akechi Denki’s style, which she discovered through her teachers Nawashi Kanna and Pedro Cordas, she also draws inspiration from a wide range of artists around the world. Her style is often described as experimental, attentive, sensual and sadistic; usually all at the same time.
Ebi is the co-founder of NARIX (North American Rope Innovation Exchange) and La Nuit des cordes (Montreal) and is currently dedicated to Cordespace (Quebec City) and her website rope365.com.
