Cancellation Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective date: June 2, 2026

1 General Principle

You can cancel your booking for a Cordespace Activity directly from your account. Depending on when you cancel, you may be eligible for a credit (see Refund Policy) or have the option to transfer your ticket.

2 Cancellation Deadlines

  • Recurring events: cancellations made up to 24 hours before the start → credit.
  • Intensive courses run by the Cordespace team: cancellations made up to 7 days before the start → credit.
  • Classes and intensive courses run by external teachers: non-refundable, but transferable.
  • All events: transferable up until the start of the Activity.

Please check the event description for further details.

3 How to Cancel

  1. Log in to your account: https://cordespace.com/compte/.
  2. Select “Événements” / “Events” from the left-hand menu.
  3. Find the event in the list and click on the “…” menu.
  4. Select “Cancel” / “Annuler”.
  5. If eligible, a member of our team will process your credit manually.

If you have any problems, please write to info@cordespace.com.

4 Why a 24-hour Notice Period?

With at least 24 hours’ notice, our team can adjust staffing levels, contact those on the waiting list and minimise the risk of having to cancel Activities for insufficient enrollment. Beyond this timeframe, such adjustments are no longer possible.

5 Ticket Transfer

If you are unable to cancel in time, you can transfer your ticket to someone else up until the start of the Activity:

  • It is your responsibility to find someone to take over your ticket.
  • Send them your QR code (available in your account once payment has been confirmed).
  • If you have not received a QR code, please email info@cordespace.com.
  • Some Activities may have specific requirements for the transfer (e.g. prior validation). Please check the event description.

6 Where to Announce a Transfer

  • Cordespace Telegram: if you have already attended an event, you will have received a link to join our Telegram group. You can post your announcement there.
  • Social media: feel free to post your announcement there.
  • Cordespace waiting list: email info@cordespace.com, specifying the event and a way to contact you. We will forward your details to our waiting list if appropriate.

Please note: our team may not see your message in time if you send it at the last minute.

7 Cancellation by Cordespace

Cordespace may cancel an Activity in the following circumstances:

  • Minimum quorum not met.
  • Teacher unavailable.
  • Technical or logistical issues at the venue.
  • Force majeure (power cut, pandemic, natural disaster, etc.).
  • Any other reason preventing the Activity from taking place safely.

In such cases, you will receive:

  • A credit for the amount paid; or
  • Upon request, a cash refund via the same payment method used.

We will notify you by email as soon as possible.

8 Unannounced Absence (No-Show)

If you do not attend an event without cancelling or transferring your ticket in a timely manner, no credit or refund will be given.

9 Illness and Accommodations

If you have any viral symptoms (flu, stomach bug, COVID, etc.), please stay home and email us at info@cordespace.com. A cash refund or store credit will be issued, depending on your preference.

For any other requests for accommodation, please contact us as soon as possible.
