Cordespace Inc. — Terms and Conditions of Use (T&Cs)

1 Identification and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions of Use (“T&Cs”) govern access to the services offered by Cordespace Inc. (“Cordespace”), a business corporation with its registered office at 276 Christophe-Colomb Street East, Suite 300, Québec (Québec) G1K 3T2.

By accessing our website, creating an account, signing up for an Activity or making a purchase, you agree to these T&Cs.
2 Description of Services
Cordespace organises Japanese bondage courses and events and sells related equipment at its premises in Quebec City. Cordespace also operates an online shop.
3 Embedded Documents
The following documents form an integral part of your contractual relationship with Cordespace, and acceptance of them is a condition of participation:

4 Registration Requirements
- You must be aged 18 or over.
- You must provide a valid email address. A pseudonym is accepted and recommended to protect your privacy.
- You must sign the Liability Waiver (or any other required document) before participating in any high-risk Activities (bondage, SM play, performances, etc.).
- You agree to comply with the Code of Conduct and the Rules.
- Activities requiring prior approval: certain Activities (e.g. semi-private or private events) require prior approval from the Cordespace team before they can be booked. The procedure for requesting approval is set out in the description of each relevant Activity.
5 User Account
Creating an account allows you to sign up for Activities, purchase products, transfer tickets and manage your signed documents.
- Account creation: You can create an account directly or have one created automatically when you complete an order, in which case you will receive an email containing a link to set your password.
- Linked accounts: If you are both a customer and a teacher (or hold any other dual role), you can link the two accounts to make navigation easier. Each account retains its own data and password.
- Responsibility: you are responsible for the confidentiality of your login details and for any activities carried out via your account.
6 Pricing and Payments
Pricing for Activities and products is shown on the website. The payment methods currently accepted are:
- Cash (on site).
- Interac e-Transfer.
- Cordespace credits (see Refund Policy).
- Credit card (when available).
Payments are made in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where applicable.
7 Cancellation and Refund
The cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Cancellation Policy and the Refund Policy.
8 Intellectual Property
All content on the website (text, images, logos, videos, structure) is the property of Cordespace or its partners and is protected by applicable laws. Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution or use is prohibited.
Photographs, audio and video recordings made by Cordespace during the Activities remain the property of Cordespace.
9 User Conduct
By using our services, you agree to:
- Comply with the Code of Conduct and the Rules.
- Refrain from using our platforms for illegal purposes.
- Refrain from infringing on the rights of others.
- Refrain from attempting to circumvent the security of our systems.
Failure to comply may result in expulsion, the withdrawal of registration privileges and, in serious cases, legal action.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cordespace shall not be liable for any consequential damages arising from the use of the services. The risks associated with the Activities are set out in the Liability Waiver, which you must sign before taking part.
Nothing in these T&Cs is intended to limit our liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for matters that cannot be excluded by law.
11 Links to Third Parties
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. Telegram, social media). Cordespace is not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties.
12 Amendments
Cordespace may amend these T&Cs at any time. The effective date will be updated. In the event of a substantial change, you will be notified.
13 Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing info@cordespace.com. Cordespace may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of the T&Cs, the Code of Conduct or the Rules.
14 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by the laws in force in Quebec and Canada. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Quebec.
