Confidentiality Policies

You never need to reveal your real name to take part in Cordespace events. An email address is required so that we can contact participants.

The exception to this would be if the government were to introduce a system such as a vaccine passport that requires a person’s identity to be verified. In such a situation, only the educator or supervisor in charge would verify the person’s identity; this information would not be recorded.

Workshop with registration via our platform:

  • Educators, supervisors and administrators can access the list of participants.
  • We recommend that you never use your real name to avoid any accidental disclosure.
  • Email addresses are only visible to administrators (Ebi McKnotty, AlexK7, Hanna and rétive)
  • Bank details are confidential to our platforms; only the last four digits of the credit card are visible to those authorised to process in-person sales, to help us confirm the payment method.
  • Participant information is stored on the platform. You can edit and delete this information via the website.
  • Participants are contacted once the course has finished to receive the course notes. The platform interface is used to send this email. Additional emails are sent on a monthly basis; you can unsubscribe from this list via the link included in each email.
